Eläkeläiset is by the way the only Finnish act performing in Oslo next saturday. Welcome! The ESC finals are screened at Gamla club first and about 23 PM the Finnish humppa starts to kick asses.

Remastered CD & some new gigs

Humpan kuninkaan hovissa

Remastered Digipak of our second CD is released in Finland. The CD includes two bonus tracks by Kristian Voutilainen: Koti-Karjalan kaipuu ja Jaakkiman siirtoväki. These songs were previously released only on our ultra rare Joulumanteli C-cassette.

The loosers of Finnish Eurovision Song Cotest 2010 can be seen on thursday 25.3. in Tallin, Estonia where we play at Rock Cafe with JMKE and on 20.4. will be our debut gig in Bryssel, Belgium (Espace 53).

D.I.Y X-mas cards

Nowou can download our Eurovision song Hulluna humpasta MP3 for free . The double CD- compilation Humppabingo is released in Finland 13.12. and in Germany by Nordic Notes in February.

Some free D.I.Y fun is added to Pekkas D.I.Y. page. Now you can download and print some great humppa x-mas cards. One of those is even in English.

Our eurovision humppa song is now published

Our candidate humppa for the Eurovision song contest is Hulluna humpasta. You can listen to it from YLE eurovision pages. The song will be also in our brand new best of compilation double CD Humppabingo that will be released in FInland 9.12.2009. Why not order one from our web shop now?

We will release a special Hulluna humpasta video at YouTube on 9.12.2009. And it seems that someone else have loaded the song to YouTube sooner. Thumbs up!

New best of Eläkeläiset double CD will be released in Finland 9.12. The compilation includes one new humppa that will maybe be the Finnish representative for the Eurovision song contest 2010. Nice digipack covers and a 16 page booklet that tells our whole story in a nutshell. Humppabingo is released in Germany by Nordic Notes.

Best of 2CD Humppabingo out in December

The new best of compilation called Humppabingo will be out in December. The double CD will include about 50 best songs from the best humppa band in the world. It will also include some cover versions that have been released before in various tribute albums. This release means that the old Humppa-akatemia compilation will not be printed in the future.

There will naturally be a nice pre-order offer at our web shop as soon as we know the price of this superb Humppabingo package. Keep on humppa!

Some news about our records

The following CD´s will be discontinued: In Humppa We Trust live CD, Humppa-Akatemia best of doubble CD & the fresh Humppakonsertto live CD.

There is good amount of Humppakonsertto left on stocks but the other two are almost gone.

Totally gone is the finnish version of Humpan kuninkaan hovissa -CD. The reprint will come maybe in 2010.

The DVD is also almost gone. The new print with new covers will come soon. The content will remain exactly the same: great!

The next Eläkeläiset song to be released will be on a tribute album for a singer songwriter Jaakko Teppo. The CD will be released by Provisual. You will most propably find the song as a bonus track on some of our next releases.
