Humppajugend pages are moving soon
Please be prepared to some changes for the wunderbar Humppajugend Fan Club pages. Humppajugend society pages are moderated by Marc, the inventor of Humppajugends and it works on volunteer base. There should be a free alternative to be the home base for this free community. As we know the humppa friendship circle works internationally and the communication hub is good way for us all to connect, find travel company and even accommodations around.

We hope that Marc will have energy and time to find the way to work this out and if someone have any ideas please let us (and Marc) know. The pages and web locations are changing but the Humppajugends will stay. Keep on humppa!

This is the note from Marc:
“Hello everybody, Hallo zusammen! I’m sorry but this site will undergo some drastic changes. I’ve used a service called Ning to built this community site. But now they are changing and start to charge for their service. While there is a very basic cheap plan the only one that would make sense to use will be priced 20$ per month, and I just can’t afford that. So I will stop using this service in a few days. I’ll set up something new that will last. Sorry about that, I learned a lesson here. But Humppa will live on. And so will Humppajugend. It might take some time to get a new site running. Please check for updates. Marc”

Humppa goes Oslo! ESC? What?
Eläkeläiset is by the way the only Finnish act performing in Oslo next saturday. Welcome! The ESC finals are screened at Gamla club first and about 23 PM the Finnish humppa starts to kick asses.

It is humppa time again
Would you like to have some humppa?
After 2 weeks of rest and recovery it is time to scream some humppa again. The first few drinks we take in Finland (Helsinki & Kerava) and on friday its time to hit Germany again for some special gigs. Video shows some nice action from Munich.
The Karlsruhe gig was set up already one year ago and it will be our 10th gig in Karlsruhe, 9th gig at Substage and also the farewell for the old Substage venue. We are proud to be one of the last bands playing there. Because of the special event there will be nice 9 € and 10 € special offers at our humppa shop there.
Wiesbaden cocert will be carefully photographed. There will be 4 students making a photo project of concert photography and as far as we know a few of our trusted photographers doing stage photos during the show. So please keep smiling over there!
In Hamburg we play the new show because the 16.4. gig was cancelled. Almost 700 tickets are sold already. Thank you for waiting us:) Show time at Markthalle is 20.00.
HELP! Transportation help needed. If someone is driving from gig to gig in Germany we need some help with our gear and merchandise. We have small car and the stuff might not fit in. Replacement gig in Hamburg
Eläkeläiset plays in Markthalle, Hamburg on Sunday May 16th and the tickets for the cancelled show are valid. If needed money will be returned from the place the ticket was bought.

Hamburg gig cancelled
Helsinki airport is closed and nothing can be done. No way to get to Hamburg in time. The band will come to Germany by car+ferry+train (or car) via Sweden and Denmark and the guys from Joensuu are already on the road to catch the morning ferry from Turku to Stockholm. See you in Hannover. We try to make new concert in Hamburg as soon as we can.
