Remastered CD & some new gigs

Humpan kuninkaan hovissa

Remastered Digipak of our second CD is released in Finland. The CD includes two bonus tracks by Kristian Voutilainen: Koti-Karjalan kaipuu ja Jaakkiman siirtoväki. These songs were previously released only on our ultra rare Joulumanteli C-cassette.

The loosers of Finnish Eurovision Song Cotest 2010 can be seen on thursday 25.3. in Tallin, Estonia where we play at Rock Cafe with JMKE and on  20.4. will be our debut gig in Bryssel, Belgium (Espace 53).

Our ESC 2010 rally is over:)

Eläkeläiset ended up to be one of the three participants on the super finals at the Finnish ESC contest and ended up to be the third. Thank you for all supporters, support groups and voters. Instead of five handsome men Finnish voters decided to send two charming ladies to Oslo. With accordion on stage and a song with nice humppa rhythm. All ten thumbs up for Kuunkuiskaajat from the band and a lot more from the crew.

To support humppa Polish Humppa Team made a hilarious translation of our song Hulluna humpasta. Vocals have been recorded in one take, with one microphone for everyone and no overdubs. Ashka made the video. Priceless!

No live feed from ESC Finnish finals

There is no international internet live feed from Finnish ESC finals on saturday. You must wait someone to load it to youtube.

Humppabingo game

While waiting for the next humppa shows you can play Humppabingo (pdf file 1,2 MB) by yourself or with your friends if you happen to have some. Just download the file, cut, fold and glue the humppabingo cube, make some coffee or tea, bake a cake and play.

Humppavision continues

We will have a new gig next week (30.1.) at the Finnish Eurovision Song Contest finals. Short show with only one song: Hulluna humpasta.

See our semifinal performance from last friday 22.1.2010 at YouTube. A lot of humppa fans were attending the event and the feeling was great.

Nowou can download our Eurovision song Hulluna humpasta MP3 for free . The double CD- compilation Humppabingo is released in Finland 13.12. and in Germany by Nordic Notes in February.
